Turkish Airlines Transports Over Seven Million Passengers in January
Passenger numbers rose 12.4% compared to the same month last year, while the load factor increased by 1.6 percentage points from January 2025. International-to-international travel grew 10.8% to reach 3.1 million passengers. The load factor for international flights was 83.7%, and for domestic flights it stood at 87.5%.
Available seat kilometers (ASK) expanded 6.4%, reaching 23.7 billion in January compared with 21.5 billion a year earlier. Cargo and mail operations also saw growth, rising 18.8% to 178,303 tons over the same period.
The airline’s fleet reached a total of 522 aircraft by the end of January.
