Greek PM to Attend Sixth High-Level Cooperation Council in Turkey

(MENAFN) Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to visit Türkiye next Wednesday for the 6th meeting of the countries’ high-level cooperation council, according to official reports.

Türkiye’s Communications Director Burhanettin Duran confirmed that Mitsotakis will travel to Ankara at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The council session will be co-chaired by both leaders, with relevant Cabinet ministers also participating.

The upcoming meeting aims to conduct a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and explore avenues to strengthen cooperation between the neighboring countries. Discussions are also expected to cover regional and global developments.

Reports indicate that several agreements designed to deepen ties between Greece and Türkiye may be signed during the visit.
